The Ivar series can be recognised by the elegant cast-iron door that allows a view of the flames. The Ivar stoves combine a compact and stylish look with the technically advanced combustion process for which Dik Geurts is renowned.
The Ivar 5, High is a customisable, freestanding stove with an external air connection that can burn wood, coke or coal. It has a large viewing window and is finished in a dark anthracite colour. With a heat output of up to 7 kW, it can easily heat a large room, but its low emissions qualify it for DEFRA approval in smoke-free urban zones.

- A single air slide with three positions for easy operation of your fireplace. That is unique, that is typically Dik Geurts. The primary ventilation for lighting, the secondary ventilation for burning unburnt gases and the ventilation of the glass for clean glass at all times.
- The inner lining is made of moulded vermiculite, which has very good heat reflection properties. A deliberate choice, as this reflection ensures faster heating of the smoke channel and more heat in the fire. The result: a beautiful, higher efficiency and clean combustion that fulfils the strictest emission requirements.
- In addition to a heat-reflecting vermiculite inner lining, the Ivar, like every Dik Geurts fireplace, offers the option of an outside air connection. This means that no air is extracted from the living room. Efficient, clean and extremely suitable for well-insulated houses (not room-sealed!).
