Green and Green+ is the new standard for BRUNNER fireplaces. With the right fuel and the right operation, verifiable emissions can be achieved at any time. We don't need "laboratory operations" - at Brunner, anyone who wants to can go green at home.
In the version with an integrated catalytic converter and a burn-off control, the green+ quality level can be achieved.
The combustion chamber geometry is new and patented. The BRUNNER "trough firing" does not require a grate or ash box. Hidden from direct view, the combustion air flows sideways into the combustion chamber cavity (primary air) and as windshield scavenging air (secondary air) from the upper door ridge area into the combustion chamber.
Depending on the combustion situation, the correct ratio of primary and secondary air determined on the test bench is selected via the front control element.
