PowerVent® is a motorized exhaust system developed exclusively by DRU. It allows all homeowners to realize their individual visions when choosing a gas fireplace. Now it is possible to enjoy a spectacular modern fireplace with realistic flames wherever you want.
It makes it possible to bridge large distances, curves or even route the exhaust system through crawlspaces or basements. This means you have a free choice of location when setting up a gas fireplace. This also includes installation options for partition walls, architectural features, attics, basements, extensions, high-rise buildings, hotels, restaurants and much more.
The secret lies in the power box, which is connected to the exhaust air duct on the outside of the building or directly under the roof. A control unit measures the pressure difference in the exhaust duct and compares it with the preset recommended pressure difference to ensure an optimally burning gas fireplace. The control unit is connected to the power box and, if necessary, activates a fan to keep the air flow in the exhaust duct going. This whole process is completely automatic. In practice, this system ensures that there is always enough air in the exhaust duct to enable constant combustion.
What is PowerVent ®
Of course, for a gas fireplace you need a flue. An existing chimney, an outlet through the roof or facade, or... our PowerVent. PowerVent is a plug & play concentric exhaust system with fan. The flexibility of this exhaust system makes it possible to install a gas fireplace in (almost) any situation. An apartment, a terraced house, or a large room without a chimney? No problem! PowerVent gives you the freedom to place the gas fireplace wherever you want.

How does it work?
The fan is mounted on or directly under the roof and uses intelligent technology to automatically generate the right amount of fresh air for optimal combustion.
This creates beautiful flames and allows you to heat safely, comfortably and efficiently.
Only suitable for DRU fireplaces / to be ordered together with a DRU gas fireplace.
The PowerVent® system is only suitable for DRU gas fireplaces prepared for this system.
Scope of delivery: Fan unit (Powerbox ® ) for the outside wall or roof, black-gray
Options:
- Mounting bracket: Mounting bracket for fan unit under flat/sloped roof
- Combustion/Exhaust Element: Used in fan unit when mounted above roof. When installing the fan unit over a flat/sloped roof.
- Aluminum roof duct: Adhesive plate for flat roofs. When installing the fan unit over a flat/sloped roof.
- Reducer: as a transition from the socket of the DRU gas fireplace insert to LAS 100/60 mm - only in conjunction with the PowerVent®2.0 system!
- Exhaust pipes 100/60 mm: length elements, bends, external wall duct, roof duct, rosette, inspection element, element with measuring opening, element with condensate drain, waterless odor trap, wall mounting bracket

Deliveries are made only within Germany.

We charge shipping costs on the basis of the order value (product price):

Delivery periods
Unless any other period is specified in the item description, the product is delivered in Germany within 3 - 50 days, in case of foreign deliveries, within 5 - 50 days after the order confirmation (in case of agreed-upon advance payment, with respect to your payment authorisation).
Please note that deliveries are not made on Sundays and other holidays.

Further details on payment
We reserve the right to make the delivery only against prepayment via transfer in isolated cases.
As long as you make the prepayment , we will grant you 5 % early payment discount on the gross product value of the order.
If payment is made using a credit card, your credit card account is debited in conjunction with the conclusion of the contract.
