The Schmid brand is not the first on the market, but Camina & Schmid Feuerdesign and Technik is the first company to have developed a gas fireplace insert from their own vision. A product that gives the user comfort and atmosphere, but also a product that is easy to install, to operate and maintain. 

Schmid has used the latest technology in burner control for this purpose. By developing its own burner system and equipping the device with the best technological features, Schmid was able to launch a product that could compete with all major brands. Schmid uses metal fibers in the wooden logs for a realistic glowing effect. It is waived on a service door; everything is integrated into the main body to simplify the installation methods. Easy access to the maintenance and service control is provided so that, in the case of a technical inspection, a major part of the decoration can remain on the burner cover. To give the design maximum freedom, all moldings are removable. For the chimney connection to the chimney, the same tools are used as for the individual chimney parts which provide an airtight connection. The system uses a special soft-start mode including two pressure relief valves for maximum safety.

The interior is flexibly equipped. For the introduction of gas appliances, Schmid has so far offered two versions in steel and black glass. Furthermore, the device can be equipped with a hybrid module, which ensures a breathtaking lighting effect under the burning logs. This module has three different programs, which make it possible to use the fireplace insert not only with heat output, but also as a pure glowing eye-catcher. Thus, the gas fireplace insert is available throughout the year.

• Control unit completely preassembled in the base area.
• Radio remote control with the following functions: On / Off; Flame image settings, programmable time programs; Room temperature control. The remote communicates bidirectionally and returns information as needed.
• Installation and operating instructions are included.
